Mike Erskine // filmmaker | photographer | digital content maker

I've always been interested in how the world works and how communication and media influence it. Through my formal education I pursued a BA in Economics and Geography, and an MSc in Sustainable Development, focusing on communications, culture and psychology. After this I began training in video and editing techniques with MonTV in Monmouth and set about creating films for online audiences.

Over the past 5 years I have made films and content for clients all over the world including documentary films, short promotional video, and animation. The work that speaks me most is always centered around development - the development of people, of communities and the world more broadly - the questions I'm often thinking about are what's next? where are we going? what are we moving towards? Much of my work explores or touches on these issues around development.
